North Lebanon, PA – The current sanitary pipe was showing signs of failure and needed to be repaired.
The 4,000 foot sanitary line that needed repaired was surrounded by other utilities such as natural gas and electric. The thought of open cutting this section of pipe created a certain amount of anxiety and risk. In addition, the line ran under a Pennsylvania state road that would need extensive reconstruction after the project was completed. The other consideration was that Sand Hill Road was transporting 5,000 cars a day and presented a serious disruption to the community. Blue Tek was chosen by North Lebanon to address their concerns of a quality liner that could be pre-inspected prior to curing. This was important to them because of previous experiences. The quality assurance and documentation that they received proved Blue Tek to be the right solution to their needs. The project was completed quickly with little traffic disruption and community impact.
