Hershey Park, Derry Township—Hershey PA
The sanitary line that needed repaired was located at the main entrance to the amusement park. The surrounding landscape of concrete walkways, trees, flowers, and shrubs, were perfectly manicured and needed to be preserved. In addition, the tram that delivered guests to the park also ran a top this area. The associated risks of other utilities were also present. To make things even more interesting the project needed completion around the nightly holiday light display. Blue Tek was chosen and scheduled for installation. The Abel Recon team had to start the project after the park closed at 11pm and complete work before it opened the next day. The team completed the project without disrupting the park landscaping or existing infrastructure. The park opened the next day without any signs that a major rehabilitation project took place.
